The Arboretum at Flagstaff

Explore one of the nation's largest collections of high-country wildflowers at The Arboretum. The Arboretum is located 7,150 feet in elevation and has a 200-acre botanical garden as well as nature preserve. Enjoy spectacular views of the San Francisco Peaks from the wildflower meadow, or join a guided tour at 11:00am and 1:00pm to learn more about the natural history of the region. The Arboretum offers daily live birds of prey programs, picnic areas and a gift shop.

The Arboretum is located four miles down Woody Mountain Road. Use the Arboretum's map located at www.thearb.org/map_to_arboretum.htm.

      AZ Wildlife Up Close The Arboretum at Flagstaff AZ Wildlife Up Close Presented by The Arboretum at Flagstaff at The Arboretum at Flagstaff May 17-October 28, 2012 A great-horned owl, ringtail cat, rosy boa, screech owl, and striped skunk will be on site with educators from the Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center through the month of May. Animals in the AZ Wildlife Up Close program were found injured and rehabilitated by Adobe Mountain, and can no longer live in the wild.
