Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music

In the mid-80's, a group of devoted music lovers formed a club for the purpose of playing acoustic music, playing and dancing at the Contra dances they would host, bringing in local, regional, and nationally recognized entertainment for the enjoyment of the community and sharing this good fun with whoever wanted to take part in it.

    FFOTM Contra Dance Ashurst Hall FFOTM Contra Dance Presented by Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music at Ashurst Hall July 11, 2009 - Ongoing FFOTM (Friends of Flagstaff Traditional Music) hosts a great contra dance on the first Saturday evening (usually) of the month. Join the dancers on the hardwood floors for a fine way to spend a Saturday evening! The dances are fun and the break time offers the beautiful trees and green grass of the Old Main campus. There is instruction given before each dance, and basic contra dance moves are taught at 7:30pm. Come alone or bring a friend. Important Information: The...
