Amahl and the Night Visitors is an opera in English composed by Gian Carlo Menotti. It is one of the most performed operas in the world. It was the first opera composed specifically for television and was the first presentation of Hallmark Hall of Fame. It is a story of a poor widow and her crippled son who are visited by the Three Kings on their way to the Christ Child. It is a story of miracles, love and hope.
