Lost in the Tropics, A New Musical
May 12-May 15, 2011
Lost in the Tropics, written by NAU Theatre student Tony Latham and Flagstaff's own Chase Coleman, is a laugh-out-loud look at Americans trapped in a foreign country following a hurricane.
When Georgia and Tiffany head to Fiji for a much needed vacation away from New York, they meet two dashing Americans who have just as much emotional baggage associated with them. Everything seems to be going well until Trevor, Georgia's fiance, the one she is still in love with, waltzes in with his new bride, Francine, who just so happens to be Ty's ex-fiancee. As confusion ensues, miscommunication, misinterpretation, and misopportunities drive these characters into a whirlwind of laughs. See what unfolds when Lost in the Tropics opens in the NAU Studio Theater.
A co-production with Arizona Playmakers; directed by Travis Marsala.
