The story of Romeo and Juliet existed for generations, but it was Shakespeare who immortalized the star-crossed lovers. They live in Verona, a violent and feuding city, with two prominent families battling in an ongoing war. The only children of these warring families fall passionately in love and are forced to keep their love hidden. They hope that their relationship will reconcile the two families, but before it can be revealed the secret leads to their untimely deaths.
