Embark' - The Art of Charmagne Coe

Charmagne Coe creates a fantastical menagerie of characters and settings using the mixed medias of watercolor, ink and pastel. The "Embark" Show features a large collection of her newest surrealistic paintings and drawings. Her work has most recently appeared in Utne Reader and Carpaccio, a Spanish contemporary art journal. Says Coe: "I try to keep my process, heart and mind very open when creating a work... the story unfolds while painting or drawing, and even well after it is finished."
