Harvey Fierstein's Tony Award winning Torch Song Trilogy, will be performed at The Doris Harper-White Community Playhouse. When Torch Song Trilogy took Broadway by storm in 1983, it won its writer and star Tony awards for Best Play and Best Actor. The play immerses us in the life of Arnold Beckoff, formerly a nice Jewish boy from Brooklyn who now makes his living as a drag queen at a Manhattan gay nightclub.
