Local artist Rachel Wilson will be showing at the Coconino Center for the Arts. Her latest work, titled The Face Is Familiar... is an installation that plays with the idea of memory and the search for a name to put with a face. The Face Is Familiar... is an oversized installation actually built into the Jewel Gallery and constructed of whimsical painted fabrics, lights, and other unexpected materials like rope and metal. Disguised within the materials are distorted images, resembling the Flagstaff Cultural Partners staff.
