The Room They Shared traces lives that have lived in the same kitchen albeit at different times. Its walls harbour stories of folk and their sometimes humorous, sometimes bleak finances through dance and theatre. Whether arguing about the bills, or ageing, or power over others, or freedom in movements and thoughts, or the raging expenses of life's burdens, these situations are often played out at the kitchen table. These flavorful moments will be captured in dance, music, and dialogue in this live, original production. Isolated Incident Performance Group will bring together a force of artists of varied disciplines and present their craft in performance. They will convey the diversity of the human condition, influencing culture an society by their transcendence of perceived limitations of the present.
